Yesterday marked Day 1 of a new experiment in removing toxins from my system. Libby shared an article reporting a two-week summary of this method, involving a 20-minute routine of swishing a teaspoon to a tablespoon of coconut, sesame seed or sunflower oil in the mouth. According to the authors notes, this practice is reputed to collect bad bacteria and such due to the sticky nature of the oil. Benefits reported included relief from headaches, whiter teeth, sinus clearing and more.
